The soldiers who visited the memorial and this palace are the commanders of the Second Division of the Rwandan Army operating in the Northern Province and the Fifth Operating in the Eastern Province and the Second Division of the Ugandan Army. 'security. 

When this three-day meeting began on November 28, Brig Gen Frank Mutembe, who leads the 2nd Division of the Rwandan Army, said that with the previous two, the problems faced by border residents were discussed.

 Brig Gen Mutembe said, “These meetings are aimed at discussing the problems faced by border residents, including drug trade, illegal border crossing, smuggling and deforestation.”

 Brig Gen Paul Muhanguzi, who was in charge of the Ugandan forces in Rwanda, thanked President Yoweri Museveni and Paul Kagame for agreeing to have meetings on both sides, pointing out that it is necessary to discuss the lives of the border residents. 

Before the meeting started, these officers visited the district leaders of Musanze, Burera and Gicumbi, which share the border with parts of Uganda.
