The FAA has suspended the use of drones in 22 utility areas in New Jersey and 29 in New York for 30 days.
after many of the citizens expressed concern over the increase in illegal activities in these states.
This decision allows the government to 'use force against non-government' if it is seen as a 'terrorist'.
It states that in New Jersey no drones are allowed to fly higher than 120 feet above the ground.
The decision comes days after an increase in drone attacks in New Jersey and other states, prompting many residents to express their concerns on social media, where many said they were being spoofed by foreigners.
There are those who claim to be of Iranian origin. Some of the restricted areas for flying these planes in their airspace are near infrastructure such as power plants, ports, airspace near military bases, or airports.
The FAA has announced that those who fly these planes in restricted areas can be arrested and charged.
This decision does not apply to government agencies. The security agencies have not announced anything, but President Biden said that the planes were seen "without causing any problems".
"We are monitoring it closely, but so far we have not seen any problems."
In New Jersey the order will be in effect until January 17, 2025, but at Trump's golf course in the state, Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, these planes will be banned from local airspace until January 31, 2025 after his inauguration.
In New York it will be implemented until January 18, 2025.
