At the beginning, the FIA President met the girls who were at the BK Arena in the program called "Girls on track", where they drove Karting and E-sport cars as one of the activities related to the General Assembly of this Organization.
Among those who participated in this program were the Minister of Sports, Nyirishema Richard; The Secretary of the Ministry, Nelly Mukazayire; The Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education, Irere Claudette and the President of the Rwanda Racing Association (RAC), Gakwaya Christian.
Karting for female students is a small car racing while E-sports is a game that allows people to race cars in a technological way.
During this week's FIA General Assembly meeting, which coincided with the 120th anniversary of this organization, 10 different activities were planned, including the planting of trees in Nyandungu Swamp and a program in which university students will be invited to see how the game of racing is played. in the car you can get the owner's job.
There will also be a visit to the Zipline Center in Muhanga District, a meeting with the participants of the conference and fans of the game and a display of the cars that won the various racing championships organized by the FIA.
These cars include the Toyota Gazoo Racing WRC of Thierry Neuville who won the Rally, the Porsche 99X Electric (GEN3 Evo) of Pascal Wehrlein who excelled in Formula E and the Red Bull RB13 driven by Max Verstappen who won the 2024 Formula One.
On Thursday, December 12, 2024, there will be a meeting to learn about the technology and use of vehicles that do not pollute the atmosphere, while on Friday, December 13, 2024, the FIA General Assembly Meeting will take place in the morning and its awards are presented in the evening at the BK Arena.
Among the categories that will be awarded are the winners of the World Championship of Formula One, Rally, Formula E, Endurance, Rallycross, Rally Raid and Karting.
