The Red Cross in Tanzania has announced that in the Burundian refugee camps of Nduta and Nyarugusu, AIDS continues to increase.

The organization reported that in these camps, at least 36 refugees die of HIV each year, while more than 140 are infected.

The Red Cross announced that the reason for the increase in the number of infections is because there is not enough education given to those in these camps, and the fact that these refugees are not given condoms and the available medicines are less than the patients.

Residents of these camps point out that one of the reasons for the increase of this disease is the lack of proper supervision, where there are children involved in bad activities, which the established institutions ignore knowingly.
