Choguel Maïga, who was recently fired from the position of Prime Minister in Mali, some of his close friends said that he has no plans to rebel against the military gang that has attacked the government, however, he will defend himself if attacked.

Last week, Maïga was removed from the post of Prime Minister, who had been there for three years. He is said to have criticized the country's ruling military group recently, expressing his displeasure with the fact that the presidential election is being postponed.

RFI announced that it has spoken to some of his close friends, who indicated that he will continue his political activities but does not plan to become one of the opposition.

However, if those in power continue to block him, he will reveal all the secrets he has kept.

They also said that Choguel Maïga intends to run for the position of President whenever the elections are scheduled, even if the incumbent Assimi Goïta is campaigning.
