The Gisagara VC
team has once again entered into a partnership with the betting company Forzza
Gaming Rwanda, which has once again become the most important team in Rwanda
and performs well at the African level.
On October 7,
2024, the Mayor of Gisagara District, Rutaburingoga Jerome and the President of
Gisagara VC, Tonci Tadić held talks with the CEO of Forzza Gaming Rwanda,
Rutaysire Eric.
The negotiations
between the two parties agreed to the collaboration and this company will be
presented to the Gisagara VC team the uniform that will be used in the 2024/25
game year.
It is not the
first time that Forzza has worked with this team as it was its sponsor in 2021
when Gisagara VC participated in the African Games held in Tunisia, at that
time it made history by becoming the first Rwandan team to win third place in
the competition that brought together the first teams at home on this
continent.
The management of
Gisagara VC said that this contract will last for three years with the
possibility of extension, which will help it become a team with African-level
goals.
She said, “With
Forzza, and other partners we are discussing, we believe that Gisagara
Volleyball is going to rise again. We hope that this year will be the one to
make history again, to regain honor in Rwanda and the international
community."
Under this
agreement, Gisagara VC will wear Forzza on its clothing and participate in the

currently allocated by the Gisagara District a budget of 150 million Frw per
year, but the administration found that additional capacity is needed to be

It is planned
that on Saturday, October 12, 2024, Gisagara VC will launch the 2024/25 sports
year in an event that will be held at the District Gymnasium.
This event was
coordinated by the National Community which will be held in Gisagara District.
The event, which
has hosted a variety of artists including Bulldog and Riderman, will begin at 6
p.m. with the unveiling of the players, partners and team uniforms. There will
also be a friendly match between Gisagara VC and Police VC.
