Rwanda, through Jordan, has given support to the people in danger in the Gaza province, after a year that area was hit by war.
It consists of food, medicine and medical supplies. Rwanda last provided such support in October 2023.
A statement released by the Government says: “This grant is intended to support the international initiative, which was received by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
It consists of 19 tons of food (including baby food), medicines and medical supplies. The Rwandan government has expressed its support for the end of the conflict in Gaza and the protection of civilian lives.
Gaza has been in a year of conflict between the Israeli army and the Hamas movement.
It is a war that has killed over 34 thousand Gazans and over 1200 Israelis.
The state of Israel says that it will rest only if it completely destroys Hamas, which it regards as a terrorist group, while the international community continues to demand peace and dialogue as the real way to end the problem once and for all.
Last year, Rwanda also donated 16 tons of food, beverages and medicines.
