Israel's Prime
Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has fired the country's Defense Minister, Yoav
Gallant, suddenly at a time when the country is in the middle of several wars
in the region.
This suspension
of the Minister Yoav Gallant caused a bad mood in the country, where some
citizens immediately started protests.
Netanyahu and
Gallant have been at odds for a long time over the war in Gaza, but Netanyahu
had avoided firing him, only on Tuesday, while the world was focusing on the US
presidential election, Netanyahu released a statement saying that there was a
conflict between them. "hard problems" include the problem of faith.
He said, "In
times of war, more than any other time, there is a need for complete trust
between the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defence, even though in the
early stages of the war there was trust and good work, in months ago, this
trust was lost between me and the Minister of Defense."
Israel has been
fighting the Hamas movement in Gaza for a year, only now it has entered other
conflicts around the world, proving that it is currently fighting seven wars at
once.
