President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda said that if begging saves countries, Africa and South America will be better.

He announced this on Wednesday, November 27 when he participated in the Ateker Festival, which brought together people from the tribe known as Ateker from the countries of Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan and Ethiopia.

Museveni said that although it is good to think about culture, Africa should work together and develop itself, instead of relying on others to help it.

He said, “When begging makes countries thrive, all African countries are prosperous. We asked the Africans the same as those in South America."

Museveni said that Africans should develop knowledge, do things that make others need them or need what they have done because it has added value.
