Basketball: Rwanda had a bad start to the African Cup of Nations qualifiers

The Rwanda National Basketball Team lost to Senegal 81-58 in the first game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

 
The games started in Dakar, Senegal where the first and third groups met.

 
The game between Rwanda and Senegal started very close, both teams won with the help of William Robynes and Brancou Badio.

 
At the end of the first quarter, Senegal leads the game with 20 points to Rwanda's 17.

 
In the second half, the home team began to increase the gap due to the many points scored by Amar Sylla and Moustapha Diop.

 
In this area, Rwanda made many mistakes and did not win the 'lancer franc' that was given. It scored 14 of Senegal's 23 points.

 
In the first half, Senegal leads the game with 43 points out of 31.

Rwanda will play the second game on Saturday, at 23:00 when they will face Cameroon, before finishing the games against Gabon on Sunday.
