Shocking Twist in Pig Farm Murder Case as Charges Dropped Against Farm Worker

A South African court has officially dropped charges against one of the farm workers accused in the brutal killing of two black women whose bodies were allegedly fed to pigs.

Adrian de Wet was among three men initially charged with murder after Maria Makgato, 45, and Lucia Ndlovu, 34, were reportedly killed while searching for food on a pig farm located near Polokwane in Limpopo province last year.

It is claimed their remains were thrown into a pig enclosure in an effort to destroy evidence.

De Wet, 20, stepped forward as a state witness when the trial began on Monday. He claims that the farm owner, Zachariah Johannes Olivier, was the one who fatally shot the two women.

De Wet, who worked as a supervisor on the farm, is expected to testify that he acted under pressure when he was ordered to dispose of the bodies by placing them in the pigsty, according to statements from both the state prosecutor and his attorney.
