US to Deport 15 Kenyans Listed on New “Worst of the Worst” Criminal Database

The United States government has revealed plans to remove 15 Kenyan nationals who were found guilty of various offences while living in the country.

This action is part of a wider push by the Trump administration to target immigrants it labels as “dangerous.”

The individuals set for deportation appear on a newly introduced public database created by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which tracks undocumented immigrants who have been arrested and convicted.

The new platform called “Worst of the Worst” is designed to give the public greater visibility into immigration enforcement efforts and to reinforce the administration’s tough stance on deportations.

Growing Concerns Among Kenyan Communities

News of the planned removals has drawn concern from the Kenyan diaspora and families in Nairobi who rely on financial support from relatives living in the US.

Advocacy groups caution that aggressive crackdowns and the public listing of offenders could heighten fear and pressure within immigrant communities nationwide.

DHS officials say the database will provide public access to hundreds of thousands of immigration cases. Secretary Kristi Noem, who led the launch, noted that the initiative aligns with a direct order from President Donald Trump to prioritize the deportation of people convicted of serious crimes.

“The platform is a key step in fulfilling the president’s commitment to removing dangerous criminals from the country,” Noem stated.
