MoMo Rwanda Ltd has introduced a major new partnership with TerraPay, a worldwide money movement company, aimed at making it even easier for Rwandans to receive international transfers quickly, safely, and straight into their MoMo wallets.
Through this collaboration, MoMo users in Rwanda can now get funds directly into their wallets from more than 200 countries and territories across the globe.
“At MoMo, our mission is clear, we want to provide Rwandans with the best financial services and ensure every transaction is handled with dignity,” said Chantal Kagame, CEO of MoMo Rwanda Ltd.
“Working with TerraPay helps us achieve that by keeping families, friends, and business partners connected and supported regardless of distance. It’s not just about money, it’s about trust, protection, and care.”
TerraPay’s vast global network offers new levels of reach and dependability for MoMo’s international remittance service. This will allow customers to access seamless cross-border transfers, whether the funds are meant for school fees, medical bills, family support, or personal use.
“At TerraPay, we believe that everyone should have access to smooth and secure financial services,” said Willie Kanyeki, Vice President, Sub Sahara Africa. “Our partnership with MoMo Rwanda shows our dedication to financial inclusion at scale, giving Rwandans the ability to receive money from over 200 countries directly into their wallets. Together, we’re equipping individuals and communities with tools to fully participate in the global economy.”
This collaboration does more than improve access to international remittances, it also enhances MoMo’s role in linking Rwandans to wider global financial opportunities.
