APR FC releases Mamadou Sy and Dauda from suspension

APR FC management has pardoned two players, Mamadou Sy and Dauda Yussif, after they were suspended for three weeks and were under investigation.

The two players were suspended by the club after leaving the club’s training camp without permission as APR FC prepared to face Pyramids FC in Cairo in a CAF Champions League play-off earlier this month.

The club announced that the players have apologized and admitted their mistakes. While they were suspended, they were taken to train with the youth team.

The players traveled with others to Rubavu District where the club will host Rutsiro FC on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 9:00 am at Stade Umuganda.

APR FC is currently fourth in the league with seven points after three matches.
