Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana looks set to join Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan.
Although the transfer is not yet finalized, sources suggest it could be wrapped up quickly, clearing the way for the Cameroonian shot stopper to make his first appearance as soon as Sunday against Fenerbahçe.
With the Turkish transfer window open until Friday, there is still enough time to complete the deal.
Onana, who is currently representing Cameroon on international duty, had also attracted interest from Galatasaray, but the Istanbul club decided to move for Ugurcan Cakir instead.
That decision has left Trabzonspor determined to land a high profile signing, with insiders confident Onana can make a real difference to their campaign.
This development follows Manchester United’s recent capture of Senne Lammens, a move that effectively opened the door for Onana’s exit.
