Pantami Foundation Unveils Free Training for 10,000 Nigerian Youth in Tech and Phone Repair

The Isa Pantami Foundation (PIP Foundation) has rolled out its third empowerment programme, set to provide free training in mobile phone repair and artificial intelligence (AI) to more than 10,000 young Nigerians.

This groundbreaking initiative is tailored to equip participants with both practical and in-demand skills that encourage self reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.

According to a statement signed by Prof. Suleiman Mohammed of the foundation, the programme is designed to enable Nigerians to take advantage of opportunities emerging from the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

“AI and other cutting edge technologies are projected to generate 170 million new jobs worldwide,” the statement noted, referencing data from the World Economic Forum (WEF). “It is our duty to ensure that citizens are well positioned to harness these opportunities.”

Founded by Pantami (Majidadin Daular Usmaniyya), a former Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, the foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering essential, life changing skills to Nigerians at absolutely no cost.
