Rwandan Karangwa Prosper joins LeBron James's management company
Rwandan Karangwa Prosper has joined Klutch Sports Group, which currently manages the interests of NBA star LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.
In a statement on its social media platform, the company did not specify whether he joined as a client or as part of a management role.
Karangwa Prosper is currently a Vice President of the Philadelphia 76ers, and is the President of the Delaware Blue Coats, its minor league team in the NBA G-League.
This company, one of the largest in the world, was founded by Rich Paul, a close friend and manager of LeBron James and his son Bronny James, who play for the Lakers.
It also includes other top players such as Anthony Davis, De’Aaron Fox, Draymond Green, and WNBA star A’ja Wilson, among others from the NFL.
Karangwa is one of the most famous basketball players in the world, having played in various countries such as the United States, Syria, Germany, France and elsewhere. This was during his time playing for the Canadian National Team.
After playing, he moved into team management where he is currently the President of the Delaware Blue Coats, a minor league team of the Philadelphia 76ers, which is in the NBA G-League.
In 2023, he won the NBA Championship with the team.
In 2016, he was in charge of recruiting players for the Orlando Magic, before moving to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2020, where he is the Vice President of Player Acquisition for the major and minor league teams.
