Tragedy has struck in Anambra State as some unknown gunmen have killed a well known businessman and social media content creator, Ifesinachi Onyekere, popularly known as “Fish Magnet,” even after a ransom was reportedly paid.
Onyekere, who is the son of a chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the state, was kidnapped on Saturday during a late night invasion of his home in the Ezinifite community, Okpuno, located in the Awka South Local Government Area.
Reports shows that the terrifying incident brought fear throughout the area. The armed men reportedly shot Onyekere in the leg before abducting him and taking off in his own vehicle.
A local source revealed that the gunmen stormed the compound in an ash coloured SUV, forced their way in, and kidnapped the popular TikToker.
According to the source, “The attackers came in an ash coloured Lexus SUV around 10:30pm, broke into the compound, shot him in the leg, and escaped with him in his navy blue Toyota Corolla.”
