Victor Great, the lead pastor of Zion Ark of Covenant International Bible Church Inc. in Delta State, struggled to move on his own as he returned to his church following 21 days of fasting.
According to reports from the church, Pastor Victor engaged in 21 days of dry fasting without food, water, or even fruits.
A video shared by the church captured the moment he was carried into the building due to his frail condition after the prolonged fast. His return sparked commotion among members as he was laid on a white cloth already spread on the altar.
The congregation, all dressed in white attire, looked on as church workers helped the exhausted pastor.
The church revealed that this fast is an annual tradition for Pastor Victor every September, a practice he has kept for 18 years. They described the spiritual activity as a sacrifice for destinies, families, and the body of Christ.
