The sudden death of a 32 year old Nigerian man in Nalasopara, India on Saturday night has left the Nigeria – Indian community in deep shock.
Reports revealed that the victim was brutally assaulted by his fellow countrymen during a violent quarrel.
According to Free Press Journal, police have confirmed the arrest of three Nigerian nationals linked to the incident.
The deceased, identified as Lucky Ikechkwuijeh, was allegedly struck with a glass bottle and further attacked with fists and kicks following a heated argument.
Those arrested were named as Ayoola Babajide Barthlomew (50), Oghene Igere (47), and Odia Izu Peculiar (50).
Investigators disclosed that during the verbal clash, one of the accused hit Lucky with a glass bottle, after which the others joined in the assault. Lucky collapsed on the spot and died shortly after from his injuries.
