Popular gospel minister, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, has revealed plans to mark his birthday with inmates at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.
He made the announcement on Tuesday via Instagram, stating that the celebration will feature a special one day Hallelujah Challenge inside the prison.
In his words: “Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in the prisons!”
The Hallelujah Challenge, a worship movement pioneered by Bassey, has earned worldwide recognition for bringing together thousands in prayer and worship sessions online.
By taking the movement to Kirikiri inmates, the singer shows his commitment to sharing hope and the gospel message beyond the normal environment.
