At only 26 years old, Floribert Bwana Chui Bin Kositi was killed in Goma after standing his groud against bribery and preventing the trafficking of toxic rice in the country.
Today, he is remembered as a powerful symbol of bravery in the face of corruption, showing that men of integrity still exist, inspiring a nationwide call for integrity in the Democratic Republic of Congo as a whole.
During his visit to the DRC in February 2023, the late Pope Francis honored Kositi’s bravery, encouraging the youths to follow his footsteps, marking an example of truthfulness and defiance against corruption.
