Gospel singer Moses Bliss has hosted a touching birthday celebration for his mother, marking the first time in her life she has ever been celebrated on her special day.
The emotional event left the singer in tears, as he revealed that his mother’s exact birth date had never been known, prompting him to choose a day himself to honour her.
“Today, I cried. For the first time in my mother’s entire life, we celebrated her birthday. All these years, we never knew the exact day she was born, so I decided to fix a date to honour her. And it meant the world to me,” Bliss wrote.
In his heartfelt message, the artist described his mother as selfless and sacrificial, saying she had never cared to celebrate herself, always focusing on showing love and care to others.
He said her words that she had forgotten about celebrating birthdays altogether broke him deeply. “This woman has spent her entire life giving to others, never once stopping to be celebrated,” he shared.
Bliss recounted how seeing her smile and receive love brought him overwhelming joy and tears. “Watching her being honoured was one of the most emotional moments of my life. I cried because she deserves the world,” he said.
Calling his mother a divine gift, the singer expressed gratitude for her endless love and faith. “Happy birthday, Mummy. Thank you for your sacrifices, your faith, and your love that never fades. You are my gift from God, and today we made history together,” he concluded.
