Israel kills Hamas leader Mohammed Sinouar
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that his forces had killed Mohammed Sinwar, who was considered the leader of Hamas after his brother, Yahya Sinwar, was killed.

Netanyahu made the announcement on Wednesday before the Israeli parliament, where he said, “We have killed Mohammed Sinwar.”

Israeli media reported that Mohammed, Yahya’s brother, was killed on May 13 in an Israeli airstrike in the Khan Younis area.

Yahya Sinwar, the former Hamas leader, was killed in October 2024 in a major airstrike on his house in Gaza.
