Actress Gina Carano has reached a settlement in her lawsuit against Disney and Lucasfilm, following her dismissal from the Star Wars spin off series titled “The Mandalorian”.
She was dismissed from the cast in 2021 after making a controversial comparison between being a Republican in the United States and being a Jew during the Holocaust.
Carano, a former MMA fighter who portrayed Cara Dune in the Disney+ hit series, announced the resolution on X, saying, “I hope this brings some healing to the force.”
Details of the settlement remain undisclosed, but the case drew significant attention and financial backing from Elon Musk.
