The Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Army, Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi, and his team visited the RDF troops deployed in the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), specifically RWABAT-1 at the headquarters located in Socatel M’Poko in Bangui City.
During his meeting with the troops, he conveyed a message of appreciation from the RDF high command.
He commended them for their work and the professionalism they display in their duties. He also gave them advice and provided them with a vision of the security direction in Rwanda and the region in general.
The Chief of Staff of the Rwandan Army is in the Central African Republic on a working visit to visit Rwandan troops deployed in the UN peacekeeping mission and those under the cooperation agreement between the two countries, Rwanda and the Central African Republic.
He is expected to attend the closing ceremony of the Central African Republic (FACA) military training course, which was conducted by Rwandan soldiers, and will also hold talks with MINUSCA leaders and FACA security officials.
