Rayon Sports has been included from the list of clubs sanctioned by FIFA for failing to register players after failing to comply with the demands made by its former employees.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the list of clubs sanctioned for their violations, mainly the illegal dismissal of employees, was published.
The more than 150 African clubs that were sanctioned include Rwandan Rayon Sports FC, which was sued twice in October 2025.
That time, it was sued by Brazilian Roberto Oliveira Gonçalves do Carmo ‘Robertinho’, who accused it of illegal dismissal and owed him money.
At that time, Rayon Sports was ordered to pay $22.5 million [over 30 million Frw], but for non-payment, it was banned from registering its players for three seasons.
Rayon Sports was banned twice and was sued by Guinea-Bissau striker Adulai Jalo.
Other African clubs that were sanctioned include Nyasa Bullets, KenGold SC, Township Rollers, AS Arta Solar7, Coto Sport de Garoua, TS Galaxy, Pretoria Callies, Welkite Kenema FC, SCCM, Ismaily SC, Zamalek, Enyimba FC and Club Sportif Sfaxien.
