India has recently tripled the number of satellites it operates.





The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced that it will triple its satellite production capacity to seven satellites a year.

ISRO Director General Narayanan said that India has recently prioritized research, technology, science and industrial development related to space exploration.

The agency aims to increase India’s share of space exploration from 2% to 8% of the total by 2030. India’s space activities are worth $8 billion, which is expected to reach $44 billion by 2033.

India plans to launch seven satellites this fiscal year.

He said that in the future, they will send a 100% Indian-made spacecraft into space.

India has also decided to send Chandrayaan-4 to the moon by 2027.

He said, “Let me explain, the unmanned spacecraft was scheduled to be launched in 2025. The manned one is scheduled for 2027 and we are continuing with it.”
