Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Killer Faces Judge, Breaks Silence with Just Three Words

The man accused of killing well known activist Charlie Kirk made his first court appearance, where he spoke only three words.

Joining the hearing virtually on September 16, Robinson appeared in an anti-suicide vest provided by Utah County Jail.

When Judge Tony Graf asked him to state his name, the 22 year old, described as showing no emotion, simply replied: “Tyler James Robinson.”

This hearing marks just the beginning of what is expected to be a lengthy and closely watched trial. Robinson is currently facing seven charges, including felony discharge of a firearm and two obstruction of justice counts connected to moving a firearm and discarding clothing.
