The Rwanda Under-17 National Team has been drawn in Group One of the CECAFA qualifiers, which will provide teams to represent the region in the Africa Cup of Nations, alongside Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and South Sudan.
The tournament, called the "CAF U17 AFCON CECAFA Region Qualifiers", will be held in Ethiopia from November 15, 2025.
Group Two consists of Uganda, Tanzania, Djibouti, Sudan and Burundi.
The Rwandan youth team has been in retreat for a few days under the leadership of head coach Habimana Sosthène.
The region in which Rwanda is located will provide three teams for the Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Morocco in 2026.
